Running an audit takes 60-90 seconds. You can either poll for the results, or get a callback when the audit is done.
All other Insites API endpoints return data in real-time.
What data can I get with the Insites API?
Pretty much everything in the Insites platform is available via API. Just ask!

Is the Insites API secure?
Yes! You can generate your own API keys from within your Insites account that only give you access to your own data.
Who can access the API? Do I need a specific plan or add-on?
You need one of the following options to access our API:
- An Enterprise Insites account
- A dedicated API access Insites account
- A Growth Insites account with the appropriate API access add-on
What are the rate limits?

What authentication method does the API use?
You will have your own API key, generated from within your dashboard. This API key is sent using an api-key header with each request. Check out our API docs for more information.

How fresh is the data returned?
When you ask for an audit, we fetch the data there and then. You can request a fresh audit at any time. Fetching the data from a historical audit incurs no additional cost.
